Fellows Major Significant Contribution Examples

The list below is intended to give examples of what the PEO would consider to be examples of the major significant contribution in the field of planning and scheduling that would allow an applicant to be considered for Fellow status if they do not meet the 25 years experience criteria. These are of course only examples. Each applicant will have to consider, as will the membership panel, if the applicant has made a major significant contribution that is equal to the examples below.

  • Applicants will have written a published book about planning / scheduling, or
  • Applicants will have lectured widely about planning / scheduling, or
  • Applicants will have developed a new technique in planning / scheduling that has been used by others, or
  • Applicants will have been responsible for all planning / scheduling within a large organisation, managing 20+ planners / schedulers. or
  • Applicants will have given evidence as a planning / scheduling or delay analysis expert witness, or
  • Applicants will have contributed significantly to (been the major force behind) the development of a planning / scheduling tool or software.
