Objectives

The objectives of the Planning Engineers Organisation are as follows:

To encourage and provide certification, education and professionalism in the field of planning and scheduling.
To formally recognise the expertise of it's members and award appropriate membership grades to match that expertise.
To validate the level of expertise of planners and schedulers.
To provide a central knowledge resource for planners and schedulers.
To collect, collate and publish examples of best practice in planning and scheduling, to PEO members, Government, teaching organisations and businesses alike.
To provide training in all aspects of planning and scheduling.
To provide the materials for continued professional development.
To promote communications forums for all planners and schedulers, worldwide, whatever industry they work within. This is in order to provide a platform for the discussion of ideas, methods and practices in the field of planning and scheduling.
To be recognised as having a thoroughly modern approach, that meets the needs of its members.
To work with other organisations, institutes and associations across the world to promote planning and scheduling in all its forms.
